Documentation
The contact point supports local Aids service organisations (Aidshilfen) with questions about HIV-related discrimination and case processing. By systematically recording and analysing cases of discrimination reported to the contact point by those affected and Aids service organisations (Aidshilfen), it is possible to find out:
- in which areas people are discriminated against because of HIV,
- which measures are necessary to prevent or sanction such cases and
- which strategies have proven to be effective.
The contact point passes on examples of good practice to colleagues working in the field. We therefore ask the counselling centres to document every case of discrimination of which they become aware and to report it to the contact point. The documentation form can be downloaded here (form only available in German). After completing it, please send it by post or email to the contact centre: gegendiskriminierung@dah.aidshilfe.de
